"I'm sure they figured it out early on
That I would never run.
That they could shoot but that's not fun,
Cause then they're killing their stolen son."
AUGUST CHRISTOPHER ROMENI
Born the fifth of November
Age 23
Male
Electrical engineer
single/in love/taken/engaged/married/divorced/
Personality
August is a mellow, level-headed man, rather quiet and laid back. He isn't much of a conversationalist, though he can be very friendly if you try to talk to him. He's not a very sociable person, and can seem a bit unapproachable at points, but once you get to know him you'll find that he's actually quite nice, and can even be funny if you manage to weasel some humor out of him. For the most part he enjoys being either alone or with a small group; larger crowds aren't something he enjoys, and in most cases he will try to escape off somewhere else if caught in one. He's much more reserved around crowds too, though when he's with a close-knit group of friends he can be found to be a bit more outgoing and open, though not much. He can be a bit secretive for the most part and doesn't talk about neither his problems nor what he's thinking, normally keeping his feeling bottled up inside him. You'll never find him having emotional outbursts or anything of the likes. For the most part he's a listener, so if you're looking for a person who you can ramble on about something with them there to simply listen, he's your man. August is very agreeable, not so much because he agrees with you so much as he has no interest in fights. Again, he's a very level-headed person who will, for the most part, avoid conflict at all cost. Exceptions are if you anger him to the point of him wanting to fight you, which is quite the feat itself. Insults for the most part bounce off him, and he usually find himself unperturbed by these. He can be very blunt at points and brutally honest, but he pretty much tells you as he sees it, no sugar-coating what so ever. He can also be rather emotionless at points, but have no doubt that he does have feelings. He is a human, and some things will make him upset or angry or sad or the likes. All in all, he's a generally quiet, nice, calm person.

History
August was born into one of those prestigious families where he was expected to do his best. Though he was the youngest of the three Romeni children, he was by no means babied. On the contrary, he had high expectations, and was expected to live up to his two siblings, who were, in his parents eyes, perfect, model children. Lucky for him, he managed to not only live up to these expectations, but to exceed them. His parents demande that he be the top of his class, the best in any extracurricular ativities he would participate in, and have model behavior. And, to his parent's absolute pleasure, he did just that and more. At the age of nine he had mastered both the piano and the violin, and was at the top of his class in every subject at school. He was sent to a private school, naturally. And for the most part he had very little social interactions, as his parents wanted him to focus on things they deemed to be more important, which is probably what caused his slightly anti-social behavior later on in life. When he was ten his parents chose who he would marry, a girl his age that was born to another family just as rich as they were, the Opelles. They didn't meet each other until their first year of high school, where they went to the same school. Though awkward at first, they grew to become acquaintances, and later on friends. His parents were thrilled by this, and it was a good thing that he was making them happy because around that time his older sister began to rebel against them. In secret, August wished he could too, but was not nearly as strong as her to do it. So he silently despised his way of life. Oddly enough, so did the Opelle daughter. She confined in him that she didn't want to get married, no offense, of course, and that she wished to choose her own way of life. August agreed with her, not telling her that over the years he had silently fallen in love with her, though it was apparent to him that she did not share any feelings stronger than friendship with him. In his senior year his sister left, having stormed out one night in a whirlwind of anger and never coming back. He later on got a letter from her, which he shared with the Opelle daughter, who also loved his sister dearly, finding that she had moved to a small town named Orchard Way. She commented wistfully that she too wished she could go to Orchard Way, or anywhere, really, like his sister had. August agreed, but didn't say anything more on the matter. Finally, they graduated from high school. That summer before college, his parents made August propose to Ms. Opelle, and her parents pressured her to saying yes. The arranged marriage was now fully underway. They, now engaged, were to go to college for four years to get the education needed, then get married, have a couple kids, and do exactly what their parents wished for them to. Neither of them liked it, but August didn't know how to go against them. His fiance, however, did. After the four years of college, she packed her bags and fled too, stating that she did not wish to be married, and that she wanted to live her own life the way she wanted. Now August has left too, gone to find her in the one place he figured she would come.

Physical Appearance
August is a handsome young man, tall and muscular in stature. He towers over most people at 6 feet five inches, making him rather visible in crowds. His hair is a darker brown and a bit longer than most guy's hair, but not ridiculously so. His eyes match his hair, sporting the same deep brown color, and he appears to be both friendly and unapproachable all at once.
